About the Painting:

I created this painting in the very places that inspired it, beginning the piece in my studio in Canada and completing it in England during my Summer Artist Residency at the Bankside Hotel. Drawing from my global travels, I merge urban and natural landscapes to imagine hypothetical futures. Inspired by my experiences exploring diverse environments, this piece envisions London underwater, with icebergs drifting past Temple Bar and Westminster Bridge, alongside natural ice formations from Iqaluit and the Athabasca Glacier. By blurring the line between beauty and devastation, I hope to spark conversations about our planet’s future and inspire a more sustainable path forward.

About the Exhibition:

"Global Cultures: A Visual Journey" invites viewers to embark on an artistic exploration across borders, delving into the diverse landscapes, traditions, and stories of different cultures around the world. This exhibition shifts the focus from belonging to one place, to the experience of discovering and engaging with new ones.

The collection will celebrate travel as a transformative experience that opens doors to new perspectives, cultures, and histories. Through various artistic mediums, the exhibition captures the spirit of adventure and discovery, offering viewers a visual passport to the far reaches of our global community.
