Exciting news – our AR-enabled mural has been acquired by the Town of Cobourg and found its permanent home at the Cobourg Community Centre (CCC)! This marks a major milestone in our public art journey.
Originating at the Art Gallery of Northumberland during the Northumberland Festival of the Arts, our artwork then spent a year on an exterior wall in downtown Cobourg, thanks to amazing community partners. Now, it brings joy to over 1000 visitors daily at the CCC!
Seeing the community embrace our artwork has been incredible. Their genuine delight upon discovering the mural, often without knowing I was the artist, added a special touch. From their reactions to the augmented reality features to the calls for more art downtown, the support has been heartwarming.
